This Privacy Policy explains how Weektor handles information when you use the app.
Overview
Weektor is a task-planning app for iPhone and iPad. It lets you create and organize tasks, schedule local reminders, use optional Weektor Pro features, and, when available, synchronize task data through iCloud.
Weektor does not require you to create an account with us. Some features require an Apple Account, including iCloud synchronization and purchases through the App Store.
Information You Create in Weektor
The information you enter in Weektor may include task titles; planned dates, time-of-day categories, completion status, ordering, and auto-move preferences; reminder settings and reminder times; and app preferences, such as appearance, theme, weekly-planning reminder settings, and selected celebration pet.
We do not operate our own servers and do not receive, access, sell, or use this information for advertising, analytics, or tracking.
On-Device Storage
Weektor stores task data and app preferences on your device using Apple technologies, including SwiftData and UserDefaults.
If iCloud synchronization is unavailable, such as when no iCloud account is signed in or iCloud is temporarily unavailable, Weektor may use on-device storage instead.
iCloud Synchronization
When iCloud is available for Weektor, the app uses Apple CloudKit to synchronize your task data across devices signed in to the same Apple Account.
The synchronized data may include your task titles and related planning information, including dates, completion status, ordering, and reminder settings. This data is stored in a private CloudKit database associated with your Apple Account. We do not operate or have access to that private database.
iCloud and CloudKit are provided by Apple and are subject to Apple’s privacy policy and terms. Your synchronized data may count toward your available iCloud storage.
You can manage your iCloud settings through your device and Apple Account settings. Deleting tasks in Weektor removes them from the app and, when synchronization is available, is intended to synchronize that deletion across your connected devices.
Notifications
With your permission, Weektor can schedule local notifications on your device.
Weekly planning reminders contain a general planning message. Task reminders may display the title of the relevant task, together with the time you selected. Notifications are scheduled and shown through iOS; Weektor does not send notification content to our servers or use remote push notifications.
You can disable notifications at any time in Weektor or in your device’s Settings app.
In-App Purchases
Weektor offers an optional one-time in-app purchase to unlock Weektor Pro features.
Purchases, payment processing, and purchase restoration are handled by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Weektor receives only the information needed to determine whether the Pro entitlement is active and to enable or restore the purchased features. We do not collect or have access to your payment card details, billing information, or Apple Account credentials.
Apple’s handling of purchase information is governed by Apple’s privacy policy and applicable App Store terms.
Third-Party Services, Analytics, and Tracking
Weektor uses Apple services only as described above: CloudKit/iCloud for optional synchronization, StoreKit/App Store for purchases, and iOS notification services for local reminders.
Weektor does not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, tracking tools, data brokers, or external marketing services. We do not track you across apps or websites.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties.
Task data is transmitted to Apple only when iCloud synchronization is used, and purchase-related information is processed by Apple when you use the App Store purchase flow. These services are necessary to provide those optional Apple-powered features.
Data Retention and Deletion
Task data stored only on your device remains there until you delete it or remove the app.
You can delete individual tasks or use the in-app “Delete All” option to remove all tasks from Weektor. If you use iCloud synchronization, deleted task data may remain temporarily in Apple’s systems as required for synchronization, backup, security, or legal purposes under Apple’s policies.
Removing Weektor from a device removes its local app data according to iOS behavior. Removing the app does not necessarily remove data that has already been synchronized to iCloud. To remove synchronized task data, delete your tasks in Weektor while iCloud synchronization is available.
Contacting Us
If you contact us by email, we receive the email address and information you choose to include in your message. We use this information only to respond to your request or provide support.
Children’s Privacy
Weektor is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. We do not knowingly collect task data or other personal information through our own servers.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
